Integrating Freshdesk with Slack enhances team productivity and communication. However, as your team's needs evolve, you might need to update or delete group-channel mappings and ensure relevant notifications and conversations are directed to the right place.

This guide will provide clear instructions on modifying these settings within Slack, ensuring that your Freshdesk integration remains efficient and tailored to your team's requirements.

How to Modify Group Channel Mapping in Slack for Freshdesk Integration

  1. Go to the Freshdesk app within your Slack workspace. Click on 'Settings' on the app's homepage.
  2. Use the 'Connect' button to create a new mapping between a Freshdesk group and a Slack channel.
  3. If you need to remove an existing mapping, go to the mapping you wish to delete and click on the 'Disconnect' button to remove the selected Freshdesk group from the Slack channel.

Note: Remember, only Slack members with admin privileges on Freshdesk can set up, update, or delete these group-channel mappings.
